Valérie Arvalys

Inspired by Art Nouveau, Art Deco and her Travels. Valérie ARVALYS, Plastic Artist, proposes works on wood, rich in texture and detail, of Art Nouveau and Art Deco styles. Her favourite subjects are women and nature in all its forms. A multidisciplinary artist, she received various training in dance, painting (at the Tuileries) and visual communication, academic drawings, painting, graphic design, packaging (in the Beaubourg quarter) in Paris. Concurrently, she took sculpture lessons, wrote poetry, and is an amateur photographer. She has been exhibiting for several years in Paris and the Île‑de‑France region primarily, including permanently in the charming painters' village of Barbizon (77). In May 2026, she will exhibit in Saint‑Jean‑Cap‑Ferrat alongside Ludovic Aimé « When Painting Meets Couture ». She also exhibits in Montreux (Switzerland) and Tokyo (Japan) during group exhibitions. Summer 2023 marked a significant moment with a solo exhibition at the Musée Jardin Bourdelle in Egreville (France), where around twenty paintings were presented over two months. She has received various prizes in France including the tin medal from the Académique Arts‑Sciences‑Lettres association, as well as internationally in Italy in Florence and in the USA in New York. With her creativity being limitless, she constantly works on different projects.
