Inspired by Art Nouveau, Art Deco and her Travels. Valérie ARVALYS, Plastic Artist, creates works on wood, rich in texture and detail, in Art Nouveau and Art Deco styles. Her favourite subjects are women and nature in all its forms. A multidisciplinary artist, she has received various training in dance, painting (at the Tuileries) and visual communication, academic drawing, painting, graphic design, packaging (in the Beaubourg district) in Paris. In parallel, she attends sculpture classes, writes poetry, and is an amateur photographer. She has been exhibiting for several years in Paris and the Paris region mainly, including permanently in the charming artist village of Barbizon (77). In May 2026, she exhibits in Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat with Ludovic Aimé 'When Painting Meets Tailoring'. She also exhibits in Montreux (Switzerland) and Tokyo (Japan) at joint exhibitions. The summer of 2023 marks a highlight with a solo exhibition at the Musée Jardin Bourdelle in Egreville (France), where some twenty paintings were presented over two months. She receives various prizes in France including the tin medal from the Académique Arts-Sciences-Lettres association, as well as internationally in Italy in Florence and in the USA in New York. With boundless creativity, she is constantly working on different projects.
