Frequently asked questions
Is there a trial period?+
No. The subscription begins upon payment of the first month. You may cancel at any time, your page remains visible until the end of the paid month.
What happens if I stop?+
Your artworks are hidden, never deleted. Your page and artworks are kept for twelve months: you can return whenever you wish.
How am I paid after a sale?+
The gallery collects payment from the buyer, transfers your net price and provides the invoice. You can also connect a Stripe account to receive your share automatically.
Who decides what is published?+
You do. Your artworks are visible as soon as you publish them. The gallery reserves the right to remove any work contrary to law or its artistic direction.
Can I exhibit at Carré 59 afterwards?+
Yes. Online artists are the first to be contacted for exhibition slots. The hanging conditions are on the Terms and Rates page.
Your photographs: the golden rule
Visitors zoom in on your works to see the texture and brushwork. The site rejects photographs that are too small and flags those that appear blurred.
- 1At least 3,000 pixels on the longest side; from 4,000 pixels onwards, your work receives the 'HD Zoom' badge.
- 2A recent phone is sufficient: maximum resolution (48 Mpx mode on recent iPhones), without digital zoom.
- 3Daylight, no flash, steady camera directly facing the work.
- 4Send the original file from your account, never via WhatsApp or Messenger, which compress images.
- 5Add one or two detail photographs taken at 20 cm: texture, signature, relief.
- 6Accepted formats: JPEG, PNG, WebP, up to 50 MB. iPhone HEIC photographs converted automatically.
