Gui Petra

Gui PETRA is a professional painter committed to exploring multiple artistic styles and techniques. Her practice extends across diverse registers, ranging from abstraction to figuration, encompassing experimentations with colour, light and texture. This diversity in her approach reflects her relentless pursuit of new modes of expression and her desire to capture the invisible, emotion and the present moment. Trained at the National School of Fine Arts in Sofia (Bulgaria), the artist draws inspiration from her personal experiences, natural elements, architecture, as well as diverse cultural influences. Each work by Gui PETRA constitutes an invitation to rediscover the world through an alternative lens, to engage with form and to question the boundaries between reality and the imaginary.
