Anne Vignau

Anne Vignau has been painting full-time for 12 years. Her work in acrylic, with painting knife and brush, is not intended as a literal reproduction of reality, but rather as an attempt at sublimation of it, through the suggestion of atmospheres where light very often takes centre stage. Inspired principally by the Impressionists, her artistic approach aims, beyond the poetic representation of places (whether natural or urban), at the communication of the emotions and fascination felt in the face of the impact that light can have on forms and colours.
