Anne Vignau

Anne Vignau has been painting full-time for 12 years. Her work in acrylic, executed with painting knife and brush, is not intended as a literal reproduction of reality, but rather as an attempt to sublimate it, through the suggestion of atmospheres in which light very often plays the leading role. Principally inspired by the Impressionists, her artistic approach aims, beyond the poetic representation of places (whether natural or urban), at the communication of emotions and fascination felt in the face of the impact that light can have on forms and colours.
